Read the Gold Standards

Cooking Matters has developed a list of key behaviors and actions, or “gold standards,” that should take place within each class in order to make the experience as meaningful as possible for participants. These standards provide the guidelines for how an ideal course should function.

Review the Volunteer Gold Standards before your course.

Lesson Enhancements and Visual Aids

In order to reach all kinds of learners during Cooking Matters programs, we have developed a collection of visual aids that help show many of the Cooking Matters concepts in an easy-to-understand way. Cooking Matters coordinators can bring these to the program as a teaching tool for instructors.
